Weddings
The Houseboat is an idyllic spot for intimate weddings. The open plan split levels really lends itself to social gatherings and the views provide a stunning backdrop. Our House Manager, Megan, has a great deal of experience planning, organising, and catering for weddings, so can expertly help guide you in putting together the perfect day.
Events
The Houseboat can also be hired for all sorts of events such as musical recitals, yoga classes, art classes, corporate events and much more. The property is incredibly versatile thanks to the large space design, and our House Manager will be pleased to help facilitate putting together the event to ensure it is a great success.
Private Dining
The Houseboat is available tor private dining and functions. Our House Managers knowledge and experience in this area is second to none. The property is perfectly suited to this sort of event, so get in touch to discuss your requirements.
The Houseboat & The Boathouse
The Houseboat sits within the grounds of The Boathouse, a unique Grade II listed property of historical significance. The Boathouse was constructed around part of the salvaged interior of the Cunard liner RMS Mauretania (sistership to the Lusitania). This property is a private dwelling. however the living and dining areas are available for hire for smaller receptions and also private dining. So you can take your pick of whichever takes your fancy, or make use of both properties.
